The black pud on offer this morning was a bit not nice - whole barley grains that were crunchy and waaaay too much white pepper
Similarly the white pud was white pepper an nothing else flavourwise
Good sossiges though and eggs cooked in front of you
We went for Linghams sauce and the shop was nearly sold out
They are sold out now!
I went into a proper shop for kitchen bits and bobs for a toast rack and got loads of things like silicon spatulae and pastry brushes
They were carefully wrapped in old newspaper in the proper way things were done when I went shopping with Grandma
It was lovely and I could have spent longer and spent much more

I have been to what passes for the Post Office in town… It’s inside W H Smith, & so poorly organised. 1 person serving, & 8 people in the queue in front of me.

They have provided a couple of chairs now, but it would be better with more staff…
