Dry ginger ale. Then you get all the benefits of ginger on top of the healin’ properties of Gin, so vividly illustrated by Hogarth, iirc. ;- )
Also, gin&ginger ale is a good drink. If it’s the rubbing gin, anyway.

Gin and dandelion and burdock was good, when you could still get D&B that wasn’t desperately expensive (Fentiman’s) or packed full of aspartame (everyone else).
