Dunno, but when that which was lost is found only after a replacement has been acquired at vast expense, it’s a right PITA.

Driving to the new house this morning, I commented to TFD that it properly felt like summer - then we arrived to see multiple swallows flying over the roof, so it is. Gorgeous day here.

and now have to learn how to make what a friend who recently bought a similar device called waffle-juice.

My father used to take his bucket of tea and his pipe into the sitting room after supper to watch the news on the television

He would invariably fall asleep and wake when either the stove where he propped his feet up on burned his feet or his pipe set his beard and tache alight

a) by using yon Fish’s magic bread tin, which is the best I have ever used (and thus is no longer available, natch); and
b) by not photographing the ugly ones :innocent:
