You know me well…

fairly well anyway, you missed out the beer at lunchtime.

The new floor is coming along well, it looks beautiful - two rooms finished. Porcelain tiles like this:

I have in fact organised a piss-up in a brewery. It was not as easy as everyone says.

In Ottawa, we have a Cancer Survivors’ Park just opposite Terminal Avenue. It’s Terminal as in railway station, still … I do wonder if I’m the only person who noticed this.

There are repeated rumours of an old people’s home in St Peter’s Close.

Actually laughed out loud at that.

There’s one on Sunset Boulevard in Perth, Ontario. Oh, and there was one called ‘The Palisades’ here in Ottawa, which I always thought conjured up visions of the oldies being fenced in. Funnily enough they changed the name, so maybe that did occur to them.

Chez bee - stuffed portobello mushrooms with asparagus and couscous. Breakfast was an oatcake, lunch a banana. Dieting? Mais, non. Still have a jibbly tummy. Meh.

Black Guillemots, TFM - they are on the amber list and I haven’t seen them before so it was good to be able to identify them (in their summer colours).

As far as ‘Skeleton Court Care Home’ is concerned - my maiden name was such that it, and my build, earned me the moniker of ‘Skinny Skeleton’. So that’s me on the waiting list. Especially with me jibbly tummy.

Any ‘like’ does not indicate approval of or support for, any jibbly tummy or other affliction.

Thanks, Gus. I know that you’d not be so uncaring.

Thanks, soo. I had no idea I was so privileged to see them regularly, though I see now the RSPB does have them down as resident on IoM.

Sympathies re the tummy, hope it is better soon.

Ooof flump just home from a rally at nearly midnight and I am wrecked

Supper has been a Turkish delight chocolate bar and my usual pills and potions

I know I am spoiled with so many different hotels and such nice foods but it’s nice to be home and in my own bed

A wumman of taste and discernment, clearly.

Fry’s Turkish Delights have grown awfully small…

a) I know they are now bastarding Cadbury’s, which is now double-bastarding Kraft/Mondelez, so the chocolate is more like grouting anyway; and
b) [pictures self in some type of confectionery/Sunset Boulevard mash-up. It ain’t pretty]

But I could rock the turban;- )
