Talking of booze I made rum and raisin ice cream the other day

I soaked the raisins in the rum for 24 hours and added extra rum to the cold custard before folding it into the whipped cream

It hiccups gently in the freezer

i think of keeping things safe from peelers when making things secure so it should be safe from a sparrer
