Join the clan. We’ve had an offer on the hive that is a bit more based in certainty than others have been. Another viewing, tomorrow.
eta - I am not a natural when it comes to business and money. We’ll see how it goes. Best nights, Cellarites.
I hope it is more suitable for my Christmas ham racing tomorrow night
The annual pig racing will take place on the GAA pitch and my butcher will be selecting his hams from the pigs at the farm where the racing pigs are reared
He uses the whole pig for meat so don’t think he leaves the pigs legless with no hams
A bit sweaty but I have been out in the garden fixing up a ukulele which had had Bad Things done to it by the previous owner (or, I suspect, the owner before that).
Yer bees are a bit sweaty, as we have accepted the offer on the hive and cancelled today’s viewing. Fingers crossed, eh? We may have need of a rental property…I have been in contact with a furniture removal and storage company, so they’ll visit and estimate next week.
Thanks, chaps. The people who propose to buy our house live a 5 minute walk away, so they can’t easily run away. Mr Bee is happily valuing some stuff that he’d like to send to the sale room after having had a drive around the places we lived in - never go back, as they say, but we did. Very sad and desperately neglected, so I’ve shaken off the dust of my feet.
I can’t help feeling that we used up our house-selling luck when we managed to palm off the last (and only other) one as soon as the For Sale sign was plonked in the garden. We’ll see.
