Nourishing Soup is being made.
I soaked broth mix in cold water yesterday, & today itizz burbling away in an Marigold stock.
I have made an bowl of the Granny Smith apple, celery & onion salad too.
Ittiz 6°outside, feeling like -1, so the soup will be warming.

Lunch was an piece of baguette from yesterday, stuffed with cheese & onion, wrapped in foil & baked for 10 minutes.

We have enjoyed conchiglie with fennel, garlic, anchovies, currants, pine nuts & capers. I do like the idea of your savoury baked baguette, Carinthia and I’ll be sure to copy. I have baked a goodly batch of cheese scones, as tomorrow izzan august day in our calendar

I have a haunch of cow on the rotisserie over Ozzie working on charcoal
A simple BBQ glaze is being used to annoint the meat which is to be served rare
Them as likes cremated meat can have bits of the outer meat that have been licked by the odd flame as fat renders out
