Well that’s a muck up! TFD and I have both committed to separate (and boring) arrangements for Thursday next week. TFD is to be off seeing the lawyers about the sale of the AB’s house in the morning and has two appointments with workmen types at the house itself in the afternoon, plus he’s promised to be at a music group thingy in the evening. Meanwhile I have further laser surgery on my left eye booked that same day. Then when I looked at the calendar this morning, it dawned on me that Thursday next week will be our 40th wedding anniversary. A very romantic celebration that’ll be then.
Just make sure that the Rubies are large enuff to see, TFM…
Years ago, a friend of mine asked her husband for a gold chain for her Birthday. The day arrived, & the chain was so fine that a microscope would have been useful.

Bah! Hold the anniversary the day before?
The day after seems more likely.
So that’ll be Friday 13th then
Hold it on the Saturday instead? (That’s my birthday, and therefore thoroughly auspicious.)
Fish as well as rubies? Wow - go forrit, TFM!

We might just do that.
Will quite possibly feature.
I should be so lucky.
Anyways, while I have been sitting and chatting, this happened…
A Louisa tree (not a wonky one, that’s my photography skills). It’s not as beautiful as the ‘real’ Lou, but it did come complete with…
…our very first windfall.
A wonderful gift from the lovely tree.

Not sure wot the opposite of nominative determinism is called but I know it when I see it. Sparrer and I just passed a lorry emblazoned thus:
‘McBurney’s Refrigeration’.
Safe travels!
The weather, hereabouts, is being horrible. We have a northerly wind which, though not strong, is making the hive howl and it is persistently raining in a fine and drizzling way. Yuk. Mr Bee is off to have his eyes tested, thence to pick up antibiotics for me. Might have a shower, soon, if I can muster the oomph. Dinner will be Singapore-style rice with prawns and a side order of steamed TSB.

The home-made stuff is round to the left. Going back on the way south.
You know that toffee shop in Moffat?
This afternoon, it made a proffat.
Probably also made a Gusfat, but I feel it’s worth getting fat(ter)for. Blackcurrant creams! Rose & violet creams as vouched for by a Respected Bee! Irn bru tablet! (No, I didn’t)
It’s a blurry good job Moffat’s a bit of a step, really
Oh, how fab! So glad you visited it…blackcurrant creams Any creams

I like treacle toffee and it’s hard to find here
I could spend hours in Moffat
They sell Walker’s treacle toffee sweets, Twellsy. Terrible for one’s teeth, mind!
