So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Afternoon, all. Our last full day, up north :face_holding_back_tears: We’ve spent some of it in Lochinver - woodland walk in sunshine, followed by lunch. Mr Bee started with Cullen Skink and then we both scoffed dressed crab salad.

(We had one apiece.)

We’ve had sunshine when it mattered most, all week, Gus. Plenty of rain, but lots of rainbows, too. I’ll be rather sad to leave.

Her first ‘solid’ food since readmission to Orsepiddle on August 22nd.

It has all gone abit Shoite for her this last year

Sigh.

I have just been surprised on our anniversary by a necklace of pearls under my pillow

Ever traditional my Bull is

I will be causing ructions at the rally this weekend as the Bull getts told off for making the other menfolk look bad for not being so romantic

Beautiful freshwater pearls

I like the jeweller Brian du Stac and there has been an agri/environmental project to restore habitat for the pearl mussel on his doorstep in Co Kerry so I can make an educated guess as to which river they came from

The Blackwater river is one such

However there has been a number of baby mussels captured and grown in places like drinking troughs on farms and the grown up mussels plonked into clean river beds to grow and breed and make beautiful pearls

So even environmentally friendly and a way of diversifying for farmers

What is not to like?

Back to the hive, having thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Came back to Contracts To Sign and I shall ignore them until Monday (at the earliest). Cheers, Dears!
