So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

I couldn’t eat that to save my life, but that means there’s more for you and, so, it’s a kindly attitude I’m adopting.

It would be a great shame to pit beak vs stinger when there are so many more deservin’ targets.

You’re telling me, Hedgers!

Disappointing chip:Wurst ratio from my perspective. But I hope it made for a happy Sparrer.

I am in v poor humour.
Making a ginger cake to take tomorrow (belated birthday cake for the daughter) and discovered a distinct lack of back-up ground ginger. Toddled down to the post office/shop, and they had none. All sorts of useless stuff, but no honest ground ginger. Bah! So it won’t be as gingery as usual, although I did up the stem ginger content quite a bit.

Anyway, it’s in the oven. And I liberated a Broadside to smooth me ruffled shellage (like plumage, but more rattly and abrasive).

I don’t like to think of a Gus in v poor humour and am sending buzzy positive vibes towards that delicious-sounding cake.

Tomorrow
well
the Tiler will be doing the hallway floor in the Embra home, so we’ll be setting up the car, early on, to be able to transport Poodle, GS, and DD to a place (yet to be decided) of Sanctuary, for a while. SiL will be supervising the Tiler until such time as we might return. Hmmmn.

Safe journeys and good Poodle deliverance, and generally have fun.
Cake is back in the oven with the light on and residual heat in the hope of stopping quite all the lemon glacé icing sliding off. You know how it is [grinnity]
Gusly goodnight to all, and good days tomorrow, and don’t be havin’ any truck wiv shonky furrin yardarms. There was hours of life in the old one. Wasteful, I call it [mutterity] lazy, the cheek of some birds

Ah, that’s a terrible pity.
I should probably cancel the yardarm to show our respects

Hello everyone, we have been away for a week, pretty easy to guess where.

We have relaxed a lot, eaten more, and I’ll draw a veil over the drinking. And we spotted these, which I think are rather splendid

Wonderful pics, TFM! I have never been to Dorset and it looks very tempting, indeed.
One of my dearly departed little friends was a Vulture - the Lovely Cora. I’ll find a pic to jog your memories.

Trip to Edinburgh was fine. As we were confined to one room, we buzzed off to Vogrie Park with Youngun and Poodle. Had a decent walk and Youngun played happily on the swings and slides. After an Indian takeaway and several books for him and many furfles for the Poodle, we had an uneventful journey home and I have poured myself a large SB.

Here she is - what a lovely creature. After she died, Ray (pictured) handed over the premises to new management.
