So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Sorry, Carinthia. :kissing:
I don’t watch much TV and the knives were a lovely surprise. They played no part in this evening’s dinner, which comprised deep-fried king prawns, ginger/garlic potatoes, tomato and green onion salad and raitha.

Well, that’s me knadgered.

We have a gorgeous, sunny day and I am happily readying the hive for Good Friends to come over for dinner. The menu will be smoked salmon and fennel risotto with steamed brocolli (they humour me) and they are doing the pud.

Off we buzzed to Morpeth, with the intention of a walk in the park followed by a shop at Morrisons. Biblical rain (not forecast) precluded the former but I (being a cynical bee, with an eye or five) looked at the clouds and wore a mac.I entered Morrisons as dry as dust, while others broaching the doors were like drowned rats.

Last night’s company was good fun (as ever) and provided a scrummy pud, wine and flowers. I shall miss this little reciprocal treat, once we move.

Tonight - home-built pizzas with salad.
