Weā€™ve had an entertaining time on Peeblesā€™ high street. No, really, the variety of shops and people in them is really diverting. And, what did we buy, I hear you ask?

  1. A pot of mackerel patƩ
  2. A piece of hot-smoked salmon (Iā€™ll make kedgeree with it)
  3. A large roll of insulating foil to put behind our radiators

Last of the big spenders. Lunchtime lentil soup was good and the weather was (relatively) mild and sunny.

Roasted veg with tortilla chips for dinner.
