I know the Cheese and Pie Man stall from our occasional visits to Ely market (incidentally they do fabulous porkie pies) and it wasn’t them, but you inspired me to a search and I’m pretty sure it was this lot:

Sadly, this particular cheese isn’t one of those listed online - I know the woman who served us said it was a special purchase - but I’ll email them to see if I can identify it that way. Just wish I’d bought more of it now!

I now have a wonderful red eye with a green pupil contrast

And a warm soft purring snow leopard on my lap
And a Bull ordering me to stay still with my feet raised against swollen legs
