I emailed to ask but I havenât had a reply so far. All I know for certain is that it was a French eweâs milk cheese, unpasteurised and with an unpronounceable name that neither of us can remember. And itâs gone.
Like my Arrewasser cheese
Apparently itâs a seasonal cheese
I am waiting till Autumn for it to come back
I was cheered today by finding that the Lincolnshire Poacher stall at Ely market had a small quantity - much of which I bought - of Knuckleduster available. That will be broached tomorrow.
Ooo cheese
Holds out plate hopefullyâŚ
But I have seen you as a vodka sparrer!
Vodka is a type of gin really. (Or arguably vice versa.)
I thought you were just being an helpgful kind wee sparrer looking after all with your mobile bar
Donât worry, Twellsy, I can spare you a share of my Knuckleduster. Only because itâs you, mind - this stuff is hard to come by and precious.
I will offer my soft fresh goat cheese from just up the road
Today was unpleasantly wet and chilly. Yer bees went walkies and turned tail into Peebles town. Found a soup-making establishment and managed to scald my tongue. Turns out, chilled Oloroso is just the business to sort this out, so I managed to make a decent-enough veggie gravy to accompany veg haggis, roast sprouts and neeps and tatties. Embra Poodle and peeps tomorrow.
Soo xx
Furfles to Poodle
Cuddles to Grandbee
Bacon butty while you watch the magenpie for suspicious behaviour?
Cold & wet here. 3° & feeling like -5°
Nourishing Soup will be made with the last of the gravy meat.

So, apparently today is National Pizza Day
SomewhereâŚ
In Other News, Morrisons currently has 25% orff 6 bottles of wine. Champagne is included.
Just sayinâ

Goodness, I havenât made a pizza for ages.
I have a chicken in the oven so no pizza here
I eat pizza so rarely, but when I do, it has to be homemade, so that the crust is exactly right
And crispyâŚ
Am sure that your crusts are superb, Dunnock.
