The op has been cancelled - again. The patient before LSiL took much longer than expected and they ran out of time. We don’t yet know what will happen now but I bloody hope they get on and do something soon, this was originally scheduled for 6 months ago.

We don’t know yet. It’s all a bit of a nightmare tbh, he’s had to fly from IoM to Liverpool four times now for this - twice for pre-op assessments and twice for ops that have been cancelled. This time his sister has flown over with him and booked into a hotel for the time he was expected to be in hospital, now no-one seems to know what will happen.

We’ve just heard that he’s being discharged for now but is rescheduled for a week today. Could be a lot worse, at least it is booked in before he needs another pre-op assessment. Fingers crossed it actually goes ahead next time.

wxcharts suggests you should be mostly clear tomorrow (not yet sticking), then slowly up to about 5cm on the ground by Monday morning, and pretty much gone by the end of Tuesday.

We expect WS for most of the night. It does make the hills look pretty, I suppose, and we are surrounded by them (they keep the world out, I like to imagine).
Stuffed mushrooms and cous cous were good enough to keep out the cold.

The shop had mimosa too - delivered in error
So I was given a bunch of mimosa by the florist
