Today I have found two screws of the right length, since the ones it came with were about 3mm too long and would have come out at the other side of the door, and fitted a hook to the back of my bedroom door for my dressng-gown to hang on.
I have only been meaning to get round to this since March 2024…
Mine’s a large slammer, please.

Too late to be of any use, but I have been known to buy over-door hooks to avoid screws and stuff.
This (wild and windy) afternoon has been spent shopping for, and making, burgers fit for a toddler, a pesky and three others. Tomorrow izzan Embra day and, thankfully, the weather is set for kinder.

I contemplated such but was told that Hedger’s exerience of them had been that they sometimes come off the door as you lift things off them, and since it would be certain to happen when I was least prepared for any complication, I decided against.

Fair enough - I have been fortunate in my experience. The (hitherto ghastly and strong) wind speeds have dropped and we have a peaceful - if damp - evening to enjoy. Fish pie and greens for dinner.
