A young nurse helped me shower and washed my hair for me and made me a nice fresh dressed bed with a brand new pair of pjs

We’ve reported a large fire on the hillside near us. It’s still smoking +++, so we’ll see how it goes. Other than that, we’ve had a glorious walk by the Tweed (hard to avoid it, round these parts) and saw an Egret, surprisingly. Mixed (very) veg cheesey bake and hasselbacks for dinner.

Finally, LSiL has been given a new heart valve this afternoon. Consultant reports all went as expected, he’s currently in intensive care and still asleep, they intend to wake him ‘in a few hours’.

The top card maker was ordered to make me a card
Hand cut filigree butterflies and roses built up into a 3d garland round a get well soon panel
