So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

And beautiful features they are, TFM. I adore violas of any kind, but the teeny wild ones tug at my heartstrings.

Today has been a gloriously sunny day and we enjoyed walkies. We have arranged to view a house, tomorrow morning and another on Tuesday. We’ll see how it goes, but the pressure to shift is not as great as the last time. Except - our next grandchild is ‘due’ on 17th May and I’d have preferred to have moved beforehand. Que sera, sera. Prawn arrabbiata for dinner.

Whereabouts are you looking, Soo?

Peebles seems to score well on shops & amenities.

So do I. So much, in fact, that I have a hanging basket outside the front door with them in it, such that they are clearly visible from where I sit at my desk and I can gloat a bit.

Carinthia - we’re looking for a hive that would be easily accessible by rail (for DS) and bus (for DD and brood). Peebles is absolutely perfect in every respect, but it’s just not sufficiently accessible to others. Sigh.

Fishers - I well understand the gloat.

Public Service Announcement: stand well away from the handle end of the poultry shears. Pinching one’s midriff may cause a public nuisance*.

*Including, but not limited to, screaming, sweariewords and a strong desire to hurl dinner at the wall.

Poor little chick

I thought that a limpet had a shell to protect it from accidentally damaging its midriff

No birds were involved in this use of the poultry shears.
