So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Anything that interferes with buikding a nest is catastrophic, especially if it’s as rubbish as a pigeon nest.

I do not regard pigeons failing to breed successfully as a catastrophe, myself. Let the eggs fall out of the nest, I say.

Especially if they didn’t pay their protection.

Not sure that I can get my Harse in gear to go up the road, so yoghurt is looking good.

Does anyone really NEED eleven towelling robes (or dressing gowns) in white and various mimsy colours? Does even a charity shop need these? The Sally Ann? A local swimming club? They were left in this house by the previous owners and have been in boxes under a bed more or less ever since: washed and put away and never touched again.

Thak you Fishy

Bar towels bor when you are cooking

I use bar towels as a hot cloth to lift stuff in and out

I find it better than oven gloves as I get a better grip

If size of going round a fat old bag then I might have a thought…

That’s what I’d do, Carinthia.

We have a house viewing, tomorrow. I am the less enthused of the two of us (connectivity, lack of shops etc.) but I’ll have a look, anyhoo.

Or even better, make bags: the sort you can put a bit of soap into and then use for general all-round washing yourself. These have a name but I can’t remember what it is. The one I have is from Germany, a present from one of my cousins, and she told me its name in German which of course I immediately forgot.
