I’m lucky that I’m on no particular diet as we were fed magnificently in Embra in honour of Easter Sunday and Mr Bee’s birthday. DD catered for her Dad wonderfully with a cheese/courgette galette and veg and DS made roast lamb with a fabulous jus, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, peas and leeks and home-made mint sauce. To follow, meringue nests filled with cream and topped with ginger/rhubarb and chopped pistachios. We supplied a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet, which could only be kwoffed by two of us…We’ll be back, tomorrow, to give DD some help with youngun so I’ve made pasta bakes to pop in the oven for lunch. Poodle was gorgeous, as ever.

I have had an fabulous Sirloin Steak wot was in the reduced section at the Co-op the other week. It was finest Hereford beef, but I think that it had had an Wagyu upbringing & care…

I am on my beige diet from tomorrow so Bovril and white bread were purchased
We enjoyed a leg of spring lamb with a gravy made from the mirepoix I had under the joint with a bunch of mint tucked in

As of tomorrow I’m on a low residue diet and no salads or any of the things that I love like seeds as a salad topping and whole grain bread
