We have a cormorant tree just down the road from us, a small willow overhanging the river. We drive past it frequently and there is almost always at least one cormorant, sometimes as many as five, sitting in the branches with wings spread out to dry.
I like to imagine that it really is a cormorant tree - that they grow on it and drop off into the river when ripe.

Wrong way round, TFM. Yer Cedric grows under water and shoots to the surface, and thence into the trees, when ripe.
There was a good cormorant tree by Kensal Green cemetery on the Grand Union.

Fork Andles lit this morning.
The long lighter I normally use is charging, so it had to be matches.
They are Swan Vestas, belonging to Danny Boy.
The smell of them striking on the sandpaper has taken me right back to God knows when.

I have been spoiled and pampered by my 
Posh pottery a silver bangle that looks like a piece of flat seaweed that was twisted and made into a pretty bangle
A pair of dangly. Pearl earrings a stole and a naran shawl
And topped off with a manicure that has my nails looking all pinky orangey with sparkley and glittery bits in it
I love it
I am now in my natural environment
The local IPA is delightful
The breakfast room has a whole honeycomb above the cereal bar
