So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

It’s geet exciting, Carinthia, and one of my favourite things to do. I’ll ask Mr Bee to take a pic of my palette. Loads to do before painting and lighting, but I must choose the colour scheme before the floor coverings are chosen, never mind the wall colours. Happy days!

Do you feel more rested, today?

Hedgers, if it says it will rain, it will rain. It’s a windy old place, too. I always take a water/windproof jacket in the autumn. Hope that helps.

Looks a bit strange, but the image on the left is a box lid (I have long admired the colours in that) and on the right it is part of a triptych which is destined for the living room. The sample in the left upper corner of the latter is of the tablecloth and in the right it’s the colour of the sofas. To add to the bonkersness of my scheming, the conservatory walls will be painted Eucalyptus green to echo a tree visible from it. Hope some of that makes sense. We live very close to the sea/Firth of Forth, and the house seems to call for sympathetic colours.

That looks particularly harmonious, to me.

The grey green of Eucalyptus is very soothing & forgiving as a wall colour, Soo. The wood & soft furnishings will add warmth.

Thank you, all. I’ll go and cook dinner, now: Keralan cod with roasted kale and rice.

Knitting. I am on (drumroll please) square #200. Ten to go before the Great Arranging and then the crocheting together of the squares.

They are going up, slowly, once the ends are darned in.

The trouble is that the colours come out muted, especially the greens. Square # 188, for instance, is bottle green in real life!

They will be an absolute Bastard to crochet together until you have got 3 or 4 rows done.

You will need the length of the table & then to roll it to one side.

Tea on yer knee fer the forseeable…:joy:
