Twellsy, (& anyone else) are you able to order clothing from ā€˜This is Unfolded’? If so, they have just announced that their ā€˜Daisie’ denim dress is now available in an longer length.

I know how much you loves yer denim, & they have many other nice things too.

When you feel abit better, look at the ā€˜Unfolded’ website, Twellsy. Lots of nice things from an ethical company.

They use deadstock fabrics, pay their Indian workers a fair wage & pay for education for Indian children too.

A bit like Paper High who do lovely leather bound notebooks and fab buffalo leather bags?

I adore my buffalo bag that won’t wear out it just gets softer and more tactile

I hadn’t heard of Paper High until you mentioned them. They seem to have nice stuff.

I have been keeping my eye on Unfolded because of my interest in fabrics & fashion. The amount of sheer waste in the clothing industry is appalling, & anything that can be done to deal with the problem responsibly & creatively is good, IMO.

I love the look of Elvis & Kresse bags /gifts too. They are made from redundant fire hoses & deadstock leather offcuts with a proportion of the cost being donated to a firefighter charity. They are pricey to me, but really unusual/interesting.

If I am buying something, I do like to either shop local, or ā€˜sensitively’ so that the money actually benefits someone.

Ooh

Am just refreshing my flowers & find that they are in their own glass vase in the box!

The last ones were in a water bag, & I thought that these where the same.

Why does that make me think of amniotic fluid?

Never mind, as you were.

Well, I have never been the same since and can’t bee as I was. Best head to bed. Good nights, Cellarites.

Are you Welsh? :wales:

AFAIK, only one other Cellarite will get that, but it had to be said.(ā€˜Amniotic fluid’ is allegedly a good set of phonemes for getting into a Welsh accent. I remain sceptical. ā€˜The Army marched to Cardiff Arms Park’ works a treat for the As*, look you.)

*If you’re shooting for Cardiff or thereabouts. Otherwise not so much.

Morning all

Dere Cha telaine I have a choice of a boutique that has staff who point me at old lady prints and colours

Oncw attempting a lilac with muddy orange print in size 10 to match a cobalt blue sqweakwinned top Tesco the odd foray to Dunnes and online

I wash and use clothes and only send them on when they are quite worn out

I have at least two 40 year old jumpers for example and I try to use natural fibre not oil based fbrics

My halo is choking me yu know

Seriously I try to be a bit less wateful by working out cost per wear and getting it as low as possible

But I just adore clothes
