I promised a Poodle pic for Twellsy ages ago. Here she is, having been trimmed.
Quite a lot of grey, but she’s still gorgeous.

She just has highlights to enhance her elegance
Gorgeous happy looking Poodle that she is
That is how I like to think of my grey hairs (still only a sprinkling at the moment but more each year) - natural highlights Cheaper than a hairdresser too.
My hair seems to be going steel colour. I don’t think it would be possible to get the effect in a hairdressing salon…
Yeah, I remember when I thought that, thirty-odd years ago [seethity]
A friend went a beautiful steel grey/black in her twenties & it still looks expensive & unmatchable in her 60s.
3 of her 4 siblings also went grey in their twenties too, but not the beautiful mixture of hers.

Tseeeep! Tseep tseep tseep!
(Winter is coming, food is gettin’ scarce, have I stored enough gin to make it through to spring?)
I’m here, so probably not.
The gin lake looks a bit empty too
That will ensure we make it to January
But has anyone checked the vodka? There’s a VIP (or two) who will need that.
I agree
I can make a start with the local cash and carry stock of vodka
Amazing what falls off lorries innit?
The tanker from Russia got impounded for dragging up undersea cables. I dunno, it’s not as if we’d paid for the vodka.
Broccoli wiv garlic butter for lunch here.
The Co-op were selling beautiful heads of brocolli for 23p, so it would have been rude not to.

We had DD and GD with us, today. I made mushroom stroganoff with broccoli and rice, GD made do with formula and was quite content. Friends will visit, tomorrow. They have announced their ETA as sometime between 2 and 3pm. Given that they are historically inaccurate with these predictions, and we’d rather like to set off on holiday at 10.00 on Saturday, they’ll be having F&C at whatever time they pitch up. I love them…

Have you identified an decent F&C shop, Soo?
Omerletty with smoked bacon here.

Mais, oui! Alanda’s in either Longniddry or Prestonpans. I’m not keen on chips, really, but they do fabby and gorgeous ones. I have white bread and West country butter (as I had for the family F&C visit a while ago) so I’ll be happy and the rest can get on wivvit.

Ooh, Chip Butty time
I can live without chips but, as you say, sometimes they just hit the spot.
I tend to eat them separately from the fish anyway.

Careful now, you two, you’ll have That Bird pining fer Rosyth.
