Slightly cooler today but still an Outside Day hurrah.
Perishing and raining heavily here
Been to craft group and made cards
What used to be called âgood plain cooksâ, yes.
And my mother lived there for a while; she was a good cook.
Good to hear Fishy
My Grandma in Bradford used to re;y on Grandad to cook
Another dose of frustration here: I have had a message from the Surgery asking me to have my Thyroid bloods done, as they didnât do them with the other blood tests in FebruaryâŠ
I had them done at the Orsepiddle 3 weeks ago, as my Consultant said they had had no results for 3 years!
Sigh

Talking of which, ânourishing soupâ is occurring, the stockpot having been harvested. Regrow yer legs here.
I would have thought that if you tell the surgery that this happened, they ought to be able to find the results on your notes, because surely the hospital will have entered them there?
Not yet, apparently, although my Surgery & the Rheumatology dept at the Orsepiddle are not good friendsâŠ
Someone from the Surgery is going to look into it.
I may need Nourishing & Sustaining SoupâŠ

GlacĂ© cherries are now regarded as having curative properties. Grandbeeâs appetite miraculously returned after eating the cherries out of Mr Beeâs ecclefechan tart*, yesterday. Today, he is back to eating like a horse, the rash is all but gone and heâs just a bit irritable, now. Chickenpox? Doesnât seem like it, to me, but I bow to the knowledge of the paediatricians. Poodle is fine and dand(er)y, had a grand walk with us and is generally behaving like a puppy, but well-trained.

And the look in his eye
Seemed to say to the sky
âNow, how to amuse them today?â
Love it!
