There izz citrus aplenty here, as I have been zesting and juicing. Vine fruits steeping with the mixed zests in orange juice and brandy; other dried fruits in brandy tout court.

Excellent work, Twellsy. Very pleased for you. Just take the tequila by mouth, then. Although via nasal spray is an option (a drop of tequila high up on the mucous membrane gives a good jolt to a hangover. Or so I have been told 
)

I am very cautious about tequila since I was a gel and overdid it slightly

Gin is much more civilised
I was mean and turned the telly off at nine o’clock
We managed beautifully with no telly for a fortnight and a new patient wanted it on
Then she fell asleep so I silenced the telly

One measure orange juice
One measure medical ethanol (the 97% v/v, because anything higher was purified with benzene; I believe they use cyclohexane now which is a bit less horrible)
One measure tequila, adding which will actually lower the abv of the whole thing

There was an occasion on which I woke from sleep in a convention registration area and someone handed me a pint glass almost full of clear liquid. So I thought “How kind to give me some water” and being thirsty, took a large and healthy gulp, and then another, before my brain and throat caught up with my reflex to drink.
I wasn’t to know that Mexicon were on a recruitment drive, was I.
Then I didn’t sleep for the following two nights, which I mostly spent bouncing off walls and talking to the hotel night-staff after everyone else had sensibly gone to bed…
