I have had so many infections or asthma flare ups ove the last year that I am determined to get proper better and stay that way
Amen to that, Twellsy, although you must be disappointed. Fuzzy hugs.

AAaaaw wee bee
You are so caring about your twin
I have just heard the most ghastly new word
To coronate
An American was using the verb I mentioned
Please tell me itâs not just me thinking that that is not a word
Gawds, TwellsyâŚI think that it is a word. Please donât suffer a set-back!
Soo xx
It is a word but not, in my book, a verb.
Possessing or wearing a crown.
I had a funny moment earlier when some American woman asserted âWe heard it from the geckoâ.
After a bit of puzzling it dawned on me that talking lizards are not in fact A Thing and they had been aware of [I forget what] from the âget-goâ.
Reptilian pride?
Aye - it has a Randy look about it.
Soo xx
Actually it is - in the sense of crowning a monarch. Last time I looked, Americans werenât too keen on that sort of thing.
Iâm really sorry, but the verb âto coronateâ, meaning âto crown (as, a sovereign)â was first recorded in about 1623.
I think that I am sorry, too. But, âcoronateâ izzan ugly and difficult verb, to my ears. Not that bees actually possess ears.
Time for bed. Good nights, Cellarites,

I suspect that Twellsyâs example might be a rather different usage
Possibly; or it might be an abusage related to current affairs. (spit)
Gin, Soo
Am planning to cut my hair either shortly, or tomorrow
