Yes - itā€™s rapidly becoming my shop of choice when buying spirits! Iā€™ve yet to be disappointed.

One I missed out on, though, was Lidlā€™s twenty quid XO. Apparently a rule changeby the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac raised the minimum age of XO from six to ten years - which meant some producers were left with stock that they wouldnā€™t be able to sell. It looks like Lidl jumped in before the rule was implemented.

Occasionally, Mr Bee and I have thought that there couldnā€™t possibly be anyone else in the world eating the same dinner as we were. Then, we have considered the size of the world and all the people in it and have thought we were being fanciful. Tonight?
