Lots of shades of sky, though admittedly most of them are some sort of grey.

I’ve just discovered a new (to me) thing…
It is not, however much it may look like one, an angry avocado, it is a rain frog. And I want one.
“I came late to rainfrogs”…
That has made me giggle to a quite ridiculous extent.
I think it’s a sweet wee thing
And it would be at home in our wilderness and weather
I like giggly Guses!
[looks more than usually crabbit]
It wasn’t me giggling like a skoolgurl, I’ll have you know.
I want one of these.
I want an alpaca
And a pair of pangolins
And a proper pond for frogs and common lizards
And a heffalump and a camel
Nah. Too upbeat. The children’s TV presenter of the animal kingdom ;- )
OK Gus wants an axolotl
Shall we club together to buy her one so we see here happy smiling giggly face?
The best axolotls are found, not bought.
(Also, do not confuse with atlatl.)
Can we go on an axolotl hunt then?
Please?
Pretty please with extra gin?
Of course. I’ll just go and check on the pangolin kennels.
Much more of that, Dunnock, & we’ll be in the Viral Doom fred…
Am putting the heating on, as itizz Ferkin’ Cold here
Carinthia.xx
A touch chilly here too dear Chatelaine
My last day of restricted movements so I am going to the farmers’ market tomorrow
I know how to live
Go saddle up the pangolin!
We hunt for axolotl!
We’ll pack three hipflasks, filled with gin,
Beside a back-up bottle
And in the game book for the day
In shaky pen-and-ink:
“The little buggers got away –
But by God, were they pink!”
Brilliant!
Soo xx
Heh!
