It happened again, about an hour ago, so I am declining on me Chaise wiv me trusty bucket by my side…
The lovely Pub down the road cannot open, but offers 3 days to collect beer which has been ordered. They have Thornbridge Jaupur IPA amongst other lovelies, so I may have to order some.

I would be tempted to order a selection to look at when you get there. You are very vulnerable, & don’t need to wear yerself out criss crossing the shop.
There’s a sofa downstairs in Fred’s Haberdashery, & there used to be a couple in the Bridal Rooms at the Co-op.
Saturday afternoons would see comatose fathers taking the weight off!

That Bird did not mention that the heating went wrong overnight. Freezing pit time when I woke up. Fortunately it was amenable to “reset”, but if it is going to make a habit of this sort of foolishness than having been comprehensively let down by plumbers and heating engineers for the entire year is going to become a serious embuggerance instead of a niggling nuisance.
