Yerrrs but when discussing the strange blue sky I was thinking life would be an Apocalypse soon and I was telling Joe of the switch of horsemen
A la Good Omens book
I hope a wee birdie has read it as it is a good comedy

Heâs come out of retirement for a few comeback tours, though, at least since the 80sâŚ
But whereâs Ronnie? (Which reminds me - must get double cream to make butterâŚ)
Ronnie got delayed with my local milk supplier
The ladies are refusing to let their milk down
Can a time-traveller be delayed?
Even as a kid, this was always a problem for me with Doctor Who. If you can travel in time, why not make an effort to arrive early enough to prevent - or at least warn people about - the forthcoming invasion / plague / exploding planet / whatever?
I suspect Douglas Adams had the same misgivings - hence WowbaggerâŚ
Anyone who has read science fiction knows about the difficulties of time travel and what a traveller might do wrong.
JK Rowling has to be assumed not to have read any SF involving time travel; she makes pretty much every one of the basic mistakes with it.
Are you saying our Cellarly Pot-Bellied Pig is a time traveller?
I mean, more than pigs usually are?
Well Lonnie followed you home wee birdieâŚ
Pammy came courtesy of TFMâŚ
Gawds, anything else?
I had to go out at 5-30 to collect a Prescription, so, like anyone, I nipped to the upstairs lavatory forran pee, before I left.
Fecking thing wonât flush
I canât wrangle the innards of the cistern tonight, & will use the 1 at the end of the garage
Sigh
In better news: I have Wine
A small carpet, well, rug of snowdrops has appeared in the front garden.
2 days ago, they were green

Turned up at the quiz just as the last question was being asked.
Won the quiz.
Oops.
Is this still time-travel-related, Dunnock, or did EOB get 0/10?
Wot an clever wee birdie
Can you wrangle a bucket of water to the upstairs lav, Carinthia?
Enjoy the wine and the snowdrops! I am so pathetically grateful to our bulbous buddies, this year, for just showing up. The Aconites are so very welcome.
For some reason, I have a pic of tonightâs dinner (well, Mr Beeâs portion) so Iâll post it:
Soo xx
Indeed. A spot of aconite can be a v present help in trouble ;- )
My Aconites are innocent little choirboys, whoâd not hurt a fly, Gus.

Come on then, Soo, describe his meal.
It looks really good.
I can fill a bucket from the bathroom next door, no problem
Am opening WineâŚ

We both had prawn dhansak, cauliflower and potato and a bit of steamed broccoli (you guessed it - another scraps from the fridge meal). He had boiled basmati rice. I must go shopping, tomorrow, as I have run out of imagination.
Wine? I couldnât possibly
Soo xx
How? (Apart from being a clever wee birdie.)

The quizmaster paused marking to let me catch up. (Then someone else turned up, did the same thing, and came in at number 3 overall.)
Clearly, the early bird thang izzan load of frolics. Yer still too clever by half, Hedgers.
Soo xx
Nothing wrong with using stuff from the 'fridge, Soo. Itizz probably the source of most of my soups, except for the âclassicsâ like mushroom, or leek & potato.
I got 2.5kg of potatoes for 27p, so will be cooking for the freezer this weekend.
