If you want the green option, a bowl of water with lemon slices in it. Full power for a couple of minutes and the grease is steamed off. Just wipe clean.

I’m sure it would work. TBH, I don’t know whether the lemon does anything beyond making it smell better. The acidity may be a factor, but it’s probably more the steam itself.

I usually use lemons, but, every once inna while, the least damaging strong option does the job, & then itizz back to the lemons fer maintenance.

It is the steam, as you say, Joe, but when I wiped this out with a cloth, the grease was completely clear.

I’ll find the name, although it isn’t a known brand…

I reckon that fresh lemon is better than bottled juice, cos of the oils in the skin

I just grew hard skin between my toes by constant wear of the footwear- like ballet dancers will grow calluses from pointe work
