So, who wants to help ... to instaurate the cellar?

I seem to have developed Very Expressive Eyebrows…

Most of the men I know wouldn’t care.

Well the Bull wears the same things always

Wrinkled chinos and a T shirt

The chinos may be smooth when he puts them on 10 seconds later they are wrinkled

Found some ancient coffee powder in the cupboard. Only nine years past its expiry date…

Clearly the detergent for making froth was still good.,

And on and on it went.

After I came away from watching it, my face tasted of coffee…

This might be a silly question but why didn’t you just bin it? I mean, now you’ve got a coffee-faced Fish to contend with.

Because we are asked to wash out glass before putting it to be recycled.

But that looks as if all the coffee is being rinsed out, rather than just the residue. If that is just the residue then, well, it’s well frothy, man…

It was a complete, unopened jar. Just very out-of-date and smelling decidedly strange when we opened it. The coffeeness only came after it had been got rid of.

They are lovely, and also very un-yellow. And I rather like that jug.

The flowers are honoured, indeed.

We have enjoyed our dinner. The halibut was eye-wateringly expensive, even from the Fish Quay, so I was hoping that Mr Bee would feel it worthwhile. He did.

Poppy candle is lit here.

I have a selection of jugs & vases, but I didn’t want anything patterned, or busy, so got that one from the table in the hall. It usually lives on there with an equally ancient Denby coffee pot in the dark blue glaze.

I have often wondered where the fish comes from that is sold at your Fish Quay. Is it all local, from the North Sea, or does some of it come from elsewhere?

When we lived in Madrid, pretty far from the sea as I’m sure you know, it had the most fantastic fish market, but very far indeed from being locally sourced. I expect most of it was flown in daily from far away. I still remember the Spanish word for halibut, it’s fletán. We (Canada) were in a bit of a row with the Spanish about it at the time.
