I squished one with my own blood in it the other day. A bit too late, obviously.

I have often felt that mosquitoes are simple creatures and understand simple language.

Like ‘5" FFDS at 90rpm’ simple.

I have the wrong sort of blood for mosquitoes usually

However any that do bite are assured of an horrible slow death

Me too!

The trick is to get them to bite me and die before they find That Fish.

I like to do it before they find the Bull

The little horrors are lessened in number without the cattle trough by the barn I find

Carinthia, It Wasn’t You Honest

Feral tells me the Internet is broken; more specifically, fast.ly the CDN company are completely knackered. This is affecting a majority of commercial sites (single point of failure anyone?). It is not affecting us 'cos we don’t use a CDN.

Green Mace, a British prototype anti-aircraft gun of the 1950s intended to engage high-altitude targets (e.g. Soviet nuclear bombers such as the Tu-16). It was hugely fiddly and complex, and reloading the 28-round ammunition reserve took 10-15 minutes with a crane (and 22.4 seconds to empty again). The whole business became obsolete with the coming of the surface-to-air missile.
