I’m sure you will carry it off with aplomb. It’s the ‘not a good feel’ that bothers me about it.

This always seemed to me unfair on barmen.
And small birds of course.
Small birds wot has bin known to work behind a bar is clearly Doomed.
For the dispensers, there is of course special dispensation. Not sure about small birds as a class, but small birds wot worked in bars are covered.
I hope that relieves the anxiety for certain feathered individuals.
Tjat should keep my ankles moist, I guess.
Urrrk. Tonight I arrived at the frilly bit ruffle, if you please, on the scarf I am making for the Ma. Uncharted waters, these. Seems (please cross extremities of choice) to be working. And then I have the fun of picking up from the provisional cast-off and doing another frilly bit ruffle oot the other side.
People who build patterns are very clever indeed.
And I have been knitting beside a big bowl of daffodils, who are very cheerful company, bless their wee trumpets. And Oaf came and planted his arse on the pattern, put a paw on my arm and demanded five minutes’ Attention. When he started mistaking the scarf for his mother, though, I hoofed him off. Catspit is not a recommended fabric conditioner afaik.
The Oaf hasn’t learned to knit then?
