Same here, until black for 6th form.
When I arrived 1st year boys (it was ALL boys) had to wear shorts. Even in those proper winters. Oh, & caps up to 3rd Year.
This all seemed to fade away during those first few years.
I bloody hate brown clothing.

I have discovered veggie stock cubes that do not contain palm oil.
Alce Nero vegetable stock cube is made without palm oil and the recipe, which has been specially created with four different kinds of vegetable (onion, celery, carrot and parsley), is particularly delicate. Available in a convenient box containing 10 stock cubes.
However, despite the fact that several mail order firms stock these, it is impossible to set up new accounts, just now.
