Yesterday, & continuing today, we have 2 recently fledged but growingly confident Robin babies hopping around our garden.
They have owl-like feathering. Not red breasted at all at this stage. I didn’t know this.

I saw the hare on the drive today and he/she came to within less than 5 metres of me
I feel protective of it as one of our neighbours collects them for coursing - horrendous practice that it is!

We had one visiting the campsite last summer. He liked the bit opposite my terrace which we use for the shade in the afternoon.
After collecting my Newspaper I called at Tiny Tesco, & got a 3 Cheese loaf for 40p
Result!
Thirsty work though…
