So, who wants to help... to perpetuate the cellar?

Or mixing the two …

Wee sparrer

Many years ago I was present at a rally through a town

Nobody was injured but it was

A fun to watch

B a nightmare to marshall and keep folk safe

Can you see my hard stare ? Can you ? Can you ?

It’s a bi-cycle. It has 2 wheels. It has a motor. It singularly refuses to split hairs.

And a Montego is a Rolls-Royce really. O-kay.

Which would require that I’d said wtte of “here’s a Harley Davison” or “Triumph Bonneville” which I didn’t.

As Dornford Yates said: “If I had meant a car I would have written a car. I meant a Rolls Royce.”

Just popping these fresh loves on the cooling rack then settling on me chaise to watch

Care to join me with a gin wee sparrer?

An overrated ambition, imo.

So many lack the most rudimentary instinct for self-preservation (see above)

But Gus me dere if you let spectators get hurted then the powers that be won’t let you have rallies there again

And rallying is such a lot of fun

Only if anyone finds out about it. “He said he was so inspired by tonight’s race that he was going to sign up straight away for the Paris-Dakar…”

Definitely. Just bin shopping.

Lidl mask-wearing up to about 30%, though still none of the staff. Tesco 50%/70%. Local brewery none at all, but I only saw one person, who was handing me a box of beer.

One never complains about folk handing one beer

I can offer large measures of gin to soothe your ragged nerves dear Gus

The Bull has made me so happy this morning
He has put extra bright led bulbs in the bathroom kitchen and dining room so I can see better

Isn’t he kind ?

It’s never stopped the TT.

Anyway, the good news: Amazon have Gentleman’s Relish again. The bad news: £14.99 for 2 x 41g pots. I got 6 for £17.99 last time I bought it, and it wasn’t that long ago.

Evening, all.
This is our fairly newly planted bee bar:

A great success. Mr Bee would like you to know that he’ll get around to painting the inside of the fence, but couldn’t achieve this before the flowers popped up.

We’ll prolly have a ‘garden date’ with DS and DiL on Saturday, so I must decide upon what to provide. Ooh - the stress

Good nights, all,
Soo xx
