So, who wants to help ... to rattle on in the cellar?

And dear Mini enjoys the variety and exercise and remains alert and eager ;- )

Maybe me bruvver ought to branch out into the occasional sheeping.

A pleasantly grey day, but it’s set to get too hot later.

to our Chatelaine.

Incidentally, Carinthia I have recently returned from the Fish Quay and the Creative Fishwife was asking after you. Were you to set up a Wedding Outfit business around here, she would be right by your side.

The forecast had opined that there was no rain to be had at the FQ. So, I donned a waxed jacket and took a brolly - thank goodness. It ruddy well hosed it down and, were it not for the fact that I Very Much Like to be Right, I’d be cross.

I like think of her more as competition :grinning: creative fishwifery - a free-flowing untapped stream of vigorous vernacular wiv pitch and range. Plus prawns and kippers.

No, on reflection, I cannot compete with such a goddess. A mere finmaiden I

Ach Soo it was just overdoing things on my trip to see the knee sturgeon at the vampire’s castle

Getting up at 5am and going from the far west to the black pool and back in one go is enough to exhaust me and that lets my edakes back in for a day or two

But if it helps get my knee sorted I will happily put up with it!

Glad you are back.

Might it be worth saying “oh the hell with it” and staying overnight in a hotel? If it gave you back the days you are out of it with the headaches it might be a payoff that rewarded the cost.

That, T’Wellsie is a fine suggestion, if it can be done.

You know that phrase, ‘so and so thinks she’s the cat’s bathmat’? I currently know I am, since a certain clown is plonked on my middle and busily chewing his back feet.
It’s all glamour here

I imagine he did, Twellsy

Tomorrow will be spent readying the hive for the Edinburgh Crew. That Poodle’s ‘crate/bed’ has been assembled and the bed has been turned down and aired for the other ones. Food supplies will suffice, once I have scuttled off to the shops for extras - such as basil, gin, Chenin Blanc etc. I am one excited bee!
