In a way, but, to be fair, by the time you remove those with an ‘a’ or an ‘e’ you’ve cut the 270 stations down to about 50. ‘L’ then removes a lot of the others. Actually looking for a single letter is a bit “where’s Wally”.
Anything with Road, Park, Grove, Green, Hill or Street is gone immediately.
The slightly awkward wording of the question is to account for the fact that St. John’s Wood is how the station is presented. If it was Saint John’s Wood there’d be an ‘a’.
