Root canal w#rk can be very painful. I have had such, but many years ago.
I learned, this morning (by press announcement), that the Headmistress of my school has died, 97, she was - but we girls thought her as old as that when we knew her. No relatives mentioned (even though I know that she looked after her Mother for many years) and no friends. She was a brilliant Classicist and a fine human being.
A toast to Florrie (though we’d never call her that to her face).
