So, who wants to help ... to rattle on in the cellar?

It always feels as though I have done nuffink when I look at the to-do list and see 5 things done today and 47 things not done. (But not everyfink I do is on the list.)

I have leopards who would love that cat bed Gus

I bet they’d love it more if it were allergic to cat hair and needed to get up…

Que?

It is a cat sized bed raised up on leggies

As demonstrated by the moggie in it…

Everybody is a cat bed if they don’t get out of the way fast enough.

Leopards give chase and make you a cat bed from a height

I have had a leopard drop from the top of a door onto my neck

It then curled around my neck and purred contentedly

You don’t catch me twice… I see the yardarm

Sorry, I don’t have any crown-stamped litre glasses at the moment. You’ll just have to put up wiv a gallon. Imperial, of course; we don’t do short measure here.

S’okay. I’ve got my own.
Brought it back from last Ireland holiday.

I couldn’t drink a whole galleon of Murphy’s - not in a lunchtime sitting/sailing - so I’ll keep that measure for brandy.

Shiraz is too mild for me. Takes too long to go to sleep.

No, never Murphy’s … if you’re in Cork, try Rising Sons:

32-oz cans, for those wot likes … and their stout is wonderful!

Only if O’Hara’s have started doing a draught stout.

I don’t like the bottled stuff.

But is their stout draught. Bottles/Tins of stout, too gassy to my taste.

They (O’Hara’s) definitely do a draught ale, ask 3Wells … she found it in Galway last week-end! Not sure about their stout.

Rising Sons stout is available on draught, in a very small number of Cork city pubs. Small pub on Mutton Lane (I think it was) is where I found it.

I was enjoying O’Hara’s on draught last weekend

I only drink draught stout. Time was you could only get draught Guinness around here, but for those as knows, quite a few pubs have Murphy’s now. Fine with a pub lunch.

Plenty of local craft brewers do their own stouts, but only bottled.

I was in Cork area for a couple of weeks back in 2017. Don’t think I saw Rising Sons, but did sample a few good whiskeys. Just in the name of science you understand.
