Or torn apart bleedin’ seals?

Yes, please, Soo.
The forecast foxed us, as it was a bit cooler than anticipated, but the arboretum was gloriously sunny and the sight of Spring flowers was very heartening. The Tea Room was rammed with the ‘grey pounders’, so we nicked off to Alnmouth and had a sustaining late lunch in the Tearoom. I thoroughly enjoyed corned beef and potato pie with mushy peas and gravy. Mr Bee swoffled fresh crab sandwiches.

Play nicely!
With the seals you mean?
But my granny told me never to play with my food.
Soo, that’s gorgeous!
I am never sure which I prefer, a carpet of snowdrops or a carpet of bluebells…
We’ll capture you a carpet of bluebells in the near future, Dear Fish. I like anemones and garlic flowers, snowdrops and bluebells, but the aconites - for me- just lift my spirits. They are so acidic and strongly joyful, with their lovely Elizabethan leafy ruffs.

We have a solitary primrose hiding under the fallen leaves under the rowan tree in our garden, and one crocus.
The Miracle of Spring
We glibly talk
of nature’s laws
but do things have
a natural cause?
Black earth turned into
yellow crocus
is undiluted
hocus-pocus.
(Piet Hein)
We have, glibly speaking, yellow, white and lilac crocus around the hive.
Anyhoo - I am feeling a bit unwell. Not inna serious way, but may need to go to bed soon.
Best dreams, Cellarites,
