Wainwrights is very good quality, Fishers. I do wish you luck with sorting her out. Were I with you, I’d be right beside you on the fretting bench.

Well, yes; and she has just decided that her dog-bed, lovingly bought for her and put in place by her owner, is not where she wants to lie, but that bare wooden floor suits her martyred condition better.
She is swinging the lead, that is what she is doing.
That it supposedly is, yes. What I do know is that Cats Hate It. Sample size small but unanimous. Dunno re the canine vote.
Worth a try, since I can get it (I discover) as easily as, and in the same set of shops as, I can get timber or craft supplies, to name but two emporia there as well as the Pets At Home.
Could she simply be too hot? The floor would be cooler.
Heat reduces appetite, too.
DiL has been on the 'phone to tell me that an Porky Pie from The Right Place has been ordered for tomorrow
She is I/C Breakfast & Booze, apparently, so all should be ok…
DDD is turning into PDD - PrimaDonnaDog…

I am too hot in that house. But I am too hot everywhere. And she has a cool kitchen to lie in.
I wondered about the possible warmth ovva heated home in Blighty as opposed to a cool (air-conned?) home in Oman.
That Poodle eats Wainwrights.

Probably not as hot as where she has until recently been residing. Don’t think the inappetance is linked to the ambient temperature so much as to Abandonment, despite her being a welcome guest and much !oved.
Aircon. Possibly. Maybe she wants the Fishly -Dunnocks to have marble floors laid… (Does one lay marble?)
I am a bad and sneaky fish: I had a steak-and-gravy pie for supper and dribbled some of the gravy into her bowl of kibble and mixed it in well.
She ate the whole lot.
Now no doubt she will have to be let out at three in the morning… If she thinks of it, anyway.
Aha! Gravy!

Tut tut! Only BAD DOGS chew books
I do know that she has not got the thick winter ruff she always grew when she lived in this country, and that report is that she lost more-or-less her own weight in fur during the first month in Oman!
But, these books have been recycled into pet food, joe.

The relatively minor inconvenience of an interrupted sleep is definitely preferable to what ensues if she doesn’t.
I think that the relative temperatures may have something to do with all of this, Fishers. When my Beloved Poppy was with us, I was told to feed her more dry food in the summer time to increase her thirst and thereby reduce her intolerance to heat. But, that may have been b****cks, for all I know.

Yay! and also Huzzah!
Full dog. Well, pro. tem., anyway.
So, our Chatelaine’s food is quality assured, thank goodness! I do hope that you have a wonderful time and, importantly, tell us all about it.

Yes; take time out to recount your triumphs, Dahlink!
