The former, which I think is slightly better than the latter, since I’d rather all the bears were sleepy than some hibernating while others wide awake. Mr Janie, when I first came to Canada, said that bears ‘semi hibernate’. I accused him of making that up. I still think he was, but a park ranger sort of confirmed what he said.
