It really grates with me, the way she talks to Willyum. It was as if he was six years old and faking illness so he didn’t have to go back to school. Mind you, that is more or less what he is doing. He’ll lose his job if he isn’t careful. Martyn Gibson wasn’t particularly sympathetic over a dead wife, so I hardly expect he’d countenance a prolonged absence due to a child who no longer has chickenpox.
And do we need two unemployed Grundys? No, we do not!
