One thing for sure, it would solve the problem of “who gets the use of the co-owned car”. Lily would use it to leave home forever.

I don’t see why it/she wouldn’t. On a scale of one to shocking it’s about a three. For calibration, Bouquet of Barbed Wire - I know, not beeb, but anyway - a strong seven.
