I do so agree.
This woman makes a practice of working herself up into hospitalisation; it is not the first time that she has done it. Since “I am now going to have to have a pacemaker fitted” and “I don’t like Christmas shopping” sounded just the same (I had a listen to the previous event just to check) I am fairly convinced that this panic-attack was phoney, done to get attention for Poor Little Me.

Still, look on the bright side - remote-controlled pacemakers are vulnerable to all sorts of malicious intervention.
