The Bridge Farm land deal is finally signed, but there’s still plenty of tension between Pat and Justin, while Tom and Helen are squabbling over how to spend the money. Looks as if we can expect family relations to remain at an all-time low for a while yet.
Over at the crease, Rex defends Anisha in the face of Will’s attitude to women on the cricket team. Such gallantry leads to a burying of the hatchet between Rex and Anisha, but they look to be keeping their relationship casual. For now.
Eddie, meanwhile, reassures Clarrie about his over-the-top advertising methods. But when Lynda finds out, she’s far from impressed and comes up with a plan.

Talking of pussycats, Lilian is in a bad way. Her bathroom is wrecked and she’s torn between Archer loyalty and Justin’s wallet. Christine also finds her home in disorder, but as she lives in a plotline hinterland none of us cares.
Meanwhile Jill and Kirsty join forces, Rex and Anisha bury the hatchet and Eddie reassures Clarrie.
Brian tries to recruit David as Ruairi’s representative - a full time job in the making - then has doubts that David, what with one thing, and another is quite the full shilling.

Harrison is outed for tricking the team into recruiting women players, resulting in the broiling mass of barely suppressed rage that is Will Grundy. Expect brickbats rather than cricket bats as Will seeks vengeance.
Lynda is also getting her fellow villagers riled up. There are crossed wires with Fallon over the organisation of the village fete. And then comes the prospect of Lynda and Lilian being forced to work together on Speed Watch - will this bickering duo ever call a truce?
Finally, Tom is still furious with Matt, thanks to his costly interference over the Bridge Farm land deal. But it soon becomes clear that Tom isn’t Matt’s only enemy in Ambridge …
