It has been foreshadowed subtly, even by querulous Carole Tregorran, but after Pip discovers a lump in her breast, an anxious Stella and an empathetic Ruth support her at the clinic appointment. Could the Brookfield wedding fall apart in the worst possible way?
Brian finally tells Lilian what’s happening between him and George - leaving her horrified at the implications. A coffee ‘in the Irish style’ may be in order.
